SaturdaySaturday January 7 2012 7:30pm in the Ontario RoomPSYCHIC PROTECTIVE GEAR
A motorcycle rider knows better than anyone about the importance of wearing good quality, proper fitting gear. It protects us from external bombardment. However, ill-fitting equipment can immobilize us and cause hazards greater than those from which it was designed to safeguard. | |
SundaySunday January 8 2012 11am in the Ontario RoomBRANDING; WHAT BEING A RIDER SAYS ABOUT WHO WE ARE.We all wear labels. We all form impressions of others based on the labels they wear (and the riding gear they select). The friends we choose, the pastimes we enjoy and the associations we belong to, all paint a picture of our personal brand. Professionally, the ways our brand is reflected include the organizations we work for, our positions in the organization, how we make decisions and how we respond to change. What happens when those two brands don't match? And what if neither one of those projects our authentic nature? Join Liz to discover how to assess the strength of your brand, and what it says about you, enjoy discovering your authentic self and empowering your personal brand.

More About the Women Riders' ForumJoin our special Guest Liz Jansen as she hosts a three day Women Riders' Forum.A combination workshop and networking opportunity, each day's forum will welcome all women riders - both experienced and those new to motorcycling. Liz states, "I want to demonstrate how motorcycling helps us deal with success, failure, resistance to change, overcoming stereotypes and physical requirements. Participants will walk away with a better idea of thoughts and behaviours that are holding them back and a realization that moving beyond those opens up a whole new world of freedom and authenticity."The Forum is a three part workshop but anyone can join in at any time. Through a series of presentations and interactions, Liz and other guests will share experiences and lessons learned on the Road to Empowerment. The ideas will inspire you in every day life and you'll likely approach riding with a deeper understanding of yourself. More about Liz on our Guests Page, and make sure to pick up a copy of her new book, "Women, Motorcycling and the Road to Empowerment" at the SUPERSHOW!
