SUPERSHOW 2008 Press Release

Grindhouse Chopper Jumps off the Screen and into the Motorcycle SUPERSHOW. . .

- Special Feature of SUPERSHOW 2008's 'Living Legends' Showcase -

November 8, 2007 (Toronto, Canada) - The cornerstone of the Motorcycle SUPERSHOW 2008's new Living Legends feature is none other than West Coast Choppers' Grindhouse Chopper. Built by Jesse James for the Quentin Tarantino / Robert Rodrigues double feature flick, the Grindhouse bike is now owned by Canadian Collector Konstantine Zakzanis. The bike is featured in Konstantine's display, in the Hall 5 Choppers & Custom Bike Showcase, sponsored by J&P Cycles, January 4, 5, 6, 2008 at the Toronto International Centre.

The Chopper was custom built by Jesse James & his crew for the movie Planet Terror, one half of the Grindhouse split bill. It was ridden in the movie by Rose McGowan whose character, Cherry Darling just happens to have an assault rifle/grenade launcher prosthesis for a leg. Bruce Willis is also featured in this film, while the second movie, Death Proof, stars Kurt Russell. Both films have just been released on DVD, as well as a Special Double Set Edition.

Grindhouse recently won awards for Best Director (shared by Tarantino and Rodrigues), Most Memorable Mutilation scene and Best Scream-Play at the Spike TV SCREAM Awards in Los Angeles.

The North American International Motorcycle SUPERSHOW's Hall 5 Chopper & Custom Bike Showcase is the prestigious new addition to what was already the largest motorcycle Show in North America, featuring over 1000 motorcycles in 7 Halls of the Toronto International Centre. Living Legends, the latest feature to be added, showcases bikes and builders whose names have become familiar to motorcycle enthusiasts. Show attendees can meet the builders and have their pictures taken with them as well as get to see these famous creations, some being shown for the first time, with many competing for the $50,000 showbike jackpot . . . only at the SUPERSHOW.

Hall 5 also features factory custom manufacturers, accessory and leather vendors, club displays, special guests, the main entertainment stage and a beer garden/restaurant for people to hang out and be a part of the non-stop action. Information on all seven halls, as well as more "Living Legends" details can be found at www.supershowevents.com.
