Winners Announced: Racers - Riders

MAX Awards 2008 The Motorcycle Awards of Excellence (MAX Awards) will be presented at SUPERSHOW 2008 in over 50 categories including Canadian Racing Champions, Rider Achievement, Media and Sponsorship, selected for showing excellence during the 2007 motorcycle year.

Winners are selected by the MAX Awards Committee, with input from the Canadian Motorcycle Association, journalist Steve Bond, track announcer Frank Wood, magazine editor Larry Tate, as well as individuals who send in nominations throughout the year.

Considered Canada's 'Motorcycle Oscars', the MAX Awards' main purpose is to recognize the contributions of people and organizations to the motorcycle community and of racers who compete in the many disciplines of our great sport.

  • The MAX Awards for Riders will be presented on Saturday, January 5th at 2:00pm on the Hall 2 Touring & Cruiser Stage.
  • The MAX Awards for Racers will be presented on Saturday, January 5th at 3:00pm on the Hall 4 Joe Rocket Stage.

* Catherine Nadeau, the Canadian National Champion and winner of the Women's Cup is the winner of the MAX Award in the Womens Road Racing category, as well as in the Achievement category for her third place finish in the National Amateur Series.
