The Canadian Motorcycle Heritage Museums Competition Motorcycle Exhibit at the Canadian Motorsports Hall of Fame


The Canadian Motorcycle Heritage Museums first permanent display is now a reality. The Museum now has a large Competition Motorcycle exhibit at the new home of the Canadian Motorsports Hall of Fame at the CNE grounds in Toronto. The new Motorsports Hall of Fame location features some 21 wonderful race vehicles with some legendary names attached. Cars such as Greg Moores Players Indy Car. A remarkable collection that is worth the trip alone to see. The Canadian Motorcycle Heritage Museums Competition display compliments the Hall of Fames collection very well. Together they make for a must see exhibit.

Accompanying images are photos of the new display which currently holds 10 wonderful historic machines from many motorcycling disciplines including a Jawa SPEEDWAY bike, a Can-Am Qualifier 175 ENDURO, Billy Mathews Norton FLAT TRACKER, a Wassel TRIALS bike, a Norton Commando engined DRAGSTER, Norton P11 and Triumph TR6C DESERT RACERS and a selection of ROAD RACERS that show the evolution of Kawasaki's race bikes.

This selection of historical Kawasaki's consist of a H1R two stroke GRAND PRIX bike once raced by the Legendary Yvon Duhamel, Lang Hindles #1 SUPERBIKE KZ1000 complete with factory S-1 motor, and Canada's winningest SUPERBIKE, the 1993 ZX7 that won multiple championships and races with riders Steve Crevier, Michael Taylor, Don Munroe, Kevin Graham, and current Superbike Champion, Jordan Szoke.

Also in the booth is a large glass display case for collectables and memorabilia. Items on display currently form a tribute to well known Toronto motorcycle racer Eric 'Doc' Toye.

The display at the Hall of Fame will be rotated regularly with new arrivals, so be sure to visit often as well as check here on the SUPERSHOW web site for updates.

The Hall of Fame is open Tuesdays to Saturdays10am to 5pm.There is no charge for admission, but donations are accepted and encouraged.
