National Superbike Series Shannonville Finale
September 3, 4, 5, 2004

SUPERSHOW staff members were out in force at this the final round of the PARTS CANADA SUPERBIKE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES. SUPERSHOW is the proud sponsor of the International Motorcycle SUPERSHOW National Amateur 600 Sportbike Class that has become the stepping stone for future top professional road racers. On hand were SUPERSHOW staff members Ken Livingstone, Peter Derry, Andrea Goodman and Sean Craigen. The venue was the 'Long Track' circuit of Shannonville Motorsports Park, just east of Belleville Ontario, September 3/4/5 2004.

The weather was perfect and the crowds turned up to watch the best road racers in Canada compete for glory. Quebec native Pascal Picotte had clinched the titles in both the Pro 600 Sportbike and the Premier Superbike classes at the previous round at Mount Tremblant, but rode with the same determination as ever. He won both classes again in dominating fashion at this final round, firmly putting his stamp upon his outstanding 2004 season.

In the Sunday International Motorcycle SUPERSHOW National Amateur 600 Sportbike Class race, with four riders still having a chance of winning the overall title, Pascal's fellow Quebecer Dominic Lavoie raced to second place to take the Series Championship in the hotly contested International Motorcycle SUPERSHOW National Amateur 600 Sportbike Class. SUPERSHOW congratulates Dominic on this hard-fought achievement.

As a tribute to the 25 year history of Superbike racing in Canada and as a treat for the race fans, the Canadian Motorcycle Heritage Museum brought six wonderful bikes with distinct Canadian history to the event for the fans to view. From the International Motorcycle Collection of Show producer Bar Hodgson, the bikes on display were the;
