A highlight on Saturday afternoon was the performance by the OPP Golden Helmets Precision Riding Team. As you can see they drew quite a crowd and everyone was wowed by their riding skills. |
Not only do we show these wonderful bikes but we also get to ride many of them! At the Ride to Remember, SUPERSHOW featured in the Museum display a 1938 Rudge Special, 1938 BSA Gold Star, 1954 Victoria Bergmeister, 1954 NSU Super Fox, 1966 Honda 305 Dream, 1963 Suzuki T-10, and a 1950 BMW R51/2. Friends who stopped by and added their bikes to the display included Pam Palmer on her 1976 BMW, Steve Miller on his 1990 Honda GB 500, and Ed Vaillancourt on his 1965 BMW R50/2.

No, Bar isn’t getting a ticket. He’s pointing out some of the interesting features of SUPERSHOW’s exceedingly rare 1950 BMW R51/2 (restored in Germany) to a member of the OPP Golden Helmets. |
This year’s Ride 2 Remember raised a record setting $18,000 for Garratt’s Island Farm Retreat camp for children with cancer and SUPERSHOW was proud to help. The Road Show is sponsored by SUPERSHOW 2005

The 1954 Victoria Bergmeister ended up taking the award for Best Bike in Show at this year’s Ride 2 Remember. Of the seven bikes we took to this year’s Ride the Victoria did end up getting the most attention, with comments like “I’ve never even seen a Victoria before!”, which is what the SUPERSHOW’s Road Show is all about. |

A new feature of the Ride 2 Remember was the Supermotard series, and it definitely added new excitement to the event. Jef Sneyd (#4) is shown here out front in one of the heat races. |

This year's Ride to Remember celebrated the life of Canadian Motorcycle Journalist Piero Zambotti. Piero's family hosted a BBQ for his friends, and many fond memories were exchanged. T-shirts were made displaying some of Piero's early art work; a motorcycle logo he designed. |
