A line up of vintage bikes in The Red Barons sights! |
Departing from the well known Ringwood Sunday morning breakfast location west of Stouffville, approximately 30 vintage motorcycle enthusiasts followed a pre-planned route to the airfield, where they met up with another 40 or so riders from other CVMG Sections. In all there were over 75 vintage and modern bikes on site, including 2 sidecars.

The Great War Flying Museum was formed in the mid 1970’s by dedicated enthusiasts of World War One aeroplanes and the brave men who piloted them. Pilots such as Canadian Billy Bishop, American Eddie Rickenbacker, and of course the great German Ace, Manfred Von Richtoffen, the ‘Red Baron’. The Museum boasts 7 beautifully built replica planes, each one airworthy and flown in airborne displays and staged ‘dogfights’ throughout the year. Seeing these classic planes maneuvering above you is a truly extraordinary sight.

CVMG club members were even permitted to sit in the aircraft for photographs! It’s a stirring experience sitting in a cramped, open-air cockpit, looking past twin machine guns and clear blue sky! This was another great event put on by one of the SUPERSHOW's most faithful clubs, the Canadian Vintage Motorcycle Group, Great Pine Ridge Section. We congratulate them on another wonderful effort.
