Peter Derry Productions acquires 50% of Toronto Spring Motorcycle ShowApril 22, 2010 – Toronto Canada... The Toronto International Spring Motorcycle Show is pleased to announce the acquisition of 50% of its corporate shares by Peter Derry Productions Inc. The 2010 Spring Motorcycle Show was recently held at the International Centre in Toronto, April 10 & 11 with the 50% sale being finalized just days prior. The 2010 Show was a joint production by Bar Hodgson Productions Ltd. (BHP) and Peter Derry Productions Inc. (PDP).April 2010 saw a major expansion of the Spring Show, with the addition of the International Centre's Hall 6, which proved an instant success with exhibitors and Show attendees alike. All aspects of the Spring Show's production remained the same utilizing the Show's long-standing on-site staff. Peter Derry, former VP of Sales & Marketing for BHP continued in his long-standing position as Show Manager of the Spring Motorcycle Show. Bar Hodgson, President of BHP, stated, "We anticipate strong future growth for the Spring Show and appreciate Peter's past efforts in helping to bring the Spring Show to its current successful position. Peter's managerial role will expand in future shows as PDP assumes more responsibility in exhibit sales, promotion and advertising, and Show management enabling BHP to concentrate on the creative aspects of the Show." Peter Derry, President of PDP stated, "My involvement with the Spring Show for over 15 years has been an invaluable experience and I'm eager to take on an increased role in the entire production of the Show. There are exciting plans in the works to take the Spring Show to a whole new level and provide additional exciting commercial opportunities for our exhibitors." BHP supports PDP's endeavors to lend its expertise to other events on a contractual basis, including the 2011 North American International Motorcycle SUPERSHOW taking place January 7, 8, 9, 2011 at the International Centre.
