To acquire a motorcycle license in Ontario it requires a two-step process. The applicant must pass a vision test, a test of the rules of the road and traffic signs. Once the person has passed these tests, the new rider will be granted a M1 license and driver information package. To become fully licensed rider, a person must pass two road tests. This process takes approximately 20 months to complete.
The North American Motorcycle SUPERSHOW has everything that a new rider needs to get started. There are representatives from all the major dealerships who will provide advice on the first bike to buy, and the correct one for the buyer. At this year's show there are six separate rider training schools at the SUPERSHOW that cover everything from off-road, road riding to track riding. Motorcycle Rider Training Course information and instructors are on site to answer questions and stressing the importance of taking a certified course. Some members of the SUPERSHOW staff are also motorcycle instructors, teaching hundreds of new riders each year.
For those who have questions regarding insurance, Mantha Insurance will have representatives on site so riders can request a free, no-obligation quote at the Show and can enter in to a draw for a trip to Las Vegas
