MAX Awards Winners Announced - Rider of the Year rides 23,000 km through Africa for AIDS Awareness.

For Immediate Release

The Motorcycle Awards of Excellence (MAX Awards), Canada's motorcycle 'Oscars' will be presented in over 50 categories including Canadian Racing Champions, Rider Achievement, Media and Sponsorship, showing excellence during the 2008 motorcycle year.

Awards Ceremonies:

Saturday January 3, 2009 - 2:00 pm MAX Awards for Riders
Riders Stage - Hall 2 Touring & Cruisers

Saturday January 3, 2009 - 3:00 pm MAX Awards for Racers
Racers Stage - Hall 4 Racing & Performance

Following the Awards presentations there will be a closed Reception in Hall 4A in the 'Century of Motorcycles' display; refreshments will be served. Media are welcome to attend and meet the winners
