March 27, Toronto Motorcycles are already a highly efficient means of transportation, not to mention a whole lot of fun if you ask all the attendees of next weekend's Toronto International Spring Motorcycle Show. It was only a matter of time until the idea of producing a motorcycle that didn't require even a drop of gasoline began production and hit the market. The Spring Motorcycle Show is pleased to be the first showing of the Zero Motorcycle to the Toronto Market. "We're very excited. Our attendees need to see this bold new initiative in keeping up with the latest technology and expectations of a savvy motorcycle market", says Show Manager, Peter Derry. Zero Motorcycles, manufactured in California, are a new totally battery-powered motocross or off-road motorcycle. This isn't a prototype. They are tested and proven. They're in production and they're selling out! According to Neal Saiki, inventor and founder of Zero Motorcycles in Santa Cruz, California, "We're shipping orders almost as fast as customers are placing them." With orders exceeding four times their manufacturing capacity in 2008, Zero entered the New Year with a substantial waiting list. Now with their manufacturing capacity upscaled to produce thousands of units per year, Zero is currently the world's largest producer of high performance electric motorcycles.
See the unveiling of the Zero at the Toronto International Spring Motorcycle Show, April 4 & 5, at the International Centre, 6900 Airport Road, and find out about their 2009 Demo Ride schedule. For further Show information visit www.supershowevents.com/spring/index.html
