January 4, 2007 . . . The brand new 2007 Benelli Cafe Racer will literally be uncrated and revealed to the Canadaian public for the first time after just arriving in the country for this weekend's SUPERSHOW. The crate will remain sealed until Friday at 11am when the official unveiling takes place in Hall 3. Scooters on Front, the Canadian Distributor will be showing the new Benelli's and PGO's, Hyosung models in their booth over the 3-days of the Show.


December 28, 2006 . . . A new exhibitor to SUPERSHOW 2007 is Go 4 It Sales, the Distributor for E-Ton Scooters and ATV's. They will introduce their 2007 new model line up of limited speed scooters at the SUPERSHOW as well as their 2007 ATV line up. Scooter models include the extremely popular Beamer and Matrix 50cc Scooters. December 23, 2006 . . . A special media guest at the 2007 SUPERSHOW is Sid from Sid's Cycle Show, seen on Global TV. Sid and his crew will be filming segments for their upcoming second season on Global, and will have a display in Hall 5 to promote his lifestyle TV show. A special feature of that display is Sid's personal custom bike named "Scene from Hell" which he plans to enter in the $50,000 showbike competition. Drop by and preview some footage from the show and meet Sid in person. Last season's shows are available on DVD at the SUPERSHOW in a limited quantity.


December 20, 2006 . . . A new feature has just been announced for the Hall 5 Choppers & Custom Bike Showcase, called the 2007 Builders Forums, and will take place throughout the 3 days of the SUPERSHOW at the Canada Cup Championship Stage. Custom builders who have showbikes competing in the Canada Cup Championships will be given a timeslot to speak to the audience followed by an informal 'Question & Answer' session open to show attendees, media and fellow builders. A schedule will be posted near the stage so visitors can plan their times to be in Hall 5. This will be a unique opportunity to gain some insight into what goes into the creation of these top showbikes, from the idea stage right through to displaying and competing for the Canada Cup.


December 15, 2006 . . . Victory Motorcycles Dealer, Spoiled Sports, of Bowmanville, Ont, will premiere it's stunning new booth with elevated central rotating tower at SUPERSHOW 2007 where the new line-up of 2007 Victory Motorcycles will be unveiled. A highlight of the SUPERSHOW's Hall 3 Industry Showcase Hall, this display will have a corporate look appropriate to the presentation of their spectacular new line of bikes. December 12, 2006 . . . Markham Custom Cycle has completed it's one-of-a-kind custom softail motorcycle, in collaboration with World Class Builder and designer, Brett Salter, to be donated as a fundraiser for Cancer Research, and will be shown for the first time to the pubic at SUPERSHOW 2007. Markham Custom Cycle, long-time exhibitors at the SUPERSHOW, teamed up with Salter to help him complete his masterpiece after he was diagnosed with cancer himself and through the course of the 'build' all parties decided to donate the finished bike to further the cause of cancer research. This bike, called 'Fighting Back', will be on display in the “Choppers & Custom Bike Showcase” Hall 5, along with another wild creation from the team at Markham Custom Cycle. This will be called the Brett Salter Tribute Display in honour of this remarkable man who passed away on November 29th.


December 7, 2006 . . . SUPERSHOW 2007 visitors will have a chance to win some fabulous prizes being arranged through Gr8 Oddz in conjunction with the Ride 4 Pets booth in Hall 2 of the SUPERSHOW. 4 Grand Prizes, including 2 trips for two to Las Vegas, sponsored by Hooters Las Vegas, and 2 Suzuki motorcycles, sponsored by Suzuki of Brampton, are up for grabs and entry to the contest is free to all SUPERSHOW attendees. December 3, 2006 . . . Noted Canadian Motorcycle Artist, Marc Lecourciere, in conjunction with the Canadian Forces, will be launching a tribute to wounded Canadian Military personnel in the form of an interactive painting to be unveiled at SUPERSHOW 2007. This original painting, measuring 3' by 6' will be on display in the Canadian Forces booth, adjacent to Marc's 'Moto Graphics' Gallery display. Showgoers can participate by adding their red thumbprint to the flag-themed background when they purchase a raffle ticket in support of the Sapper Mike McTeague Wounded Warrior Fund. Marc will also have original works of art for sale in his Hall 5 Gallery booth and is planning an “all out” ceremonial unveiling of his new painting on the Canada Cup stage on Friday, complete with military colour display and the playing of the National Anthem. This will kick off the Canadian Tour of the painting before it goes on display at other events across the country. The ceremony, and parts of the SUPERSHOW will be filmed to be broadcast to the troops in Afghanistan.

November 23, 2006 . . . SUPERSHOW 2007 will feature "A Century of Motorcycles", presented by the Canadian Motorcycle Heritage Museum in the new "Vintage & Classics" Hall 4A. This display will be a monumental undertaking to illustrate the evolution of motorcycles from their invention to present day, done as a timeline with approximately 50 bikes depicting 102 years. The oldest bike is a 1903 Kerry – the oldest known motorcycle in Canada, with bikes representing each decade, through to the 2005 Kawasaki ZX-12R that recently surpassed the 200 mph mark at Maxton Airport Runway. The motorcycles are a combination of historical marques from the SUPERSHOW Collection and bikes on loan from private individuals. There will also be a side display from the Museum's Hall of Fame featuring its 'Wall of Fame', sponsored by Suzuki Canada, honouring the 2006 Inductees.


November 20, 2006 . . . 61 Riding Clubs have already signed up for exhibit space at SUPERSHOW 2007. Displays will have a central theme while showcasing members' bikes and promoting their rides and rallies. The SUPERSHOW supports riding and racing clubs and organizations by sponsoring their display space and providing cash & awards for the top 10 clubs displays. SUPERSHOW 2006 had over 70 clubs and associations exhibiting and we expect a record number for the SUPERSHOW's expansion for 2007


November 14, 2006 . . . Humber College's expanded Rider Academy at SUPERSHOW 2007 features a series of 10 different topics to be presented over the 3 days of the Show. From Group Riding to Traffic Awareness, seminars are intended for riders of all experience levels. Specialized topics include 'She Rides' for women riders and Graduated Licencing for new riders, and even a new Scootering presentation! See the 3-day schedule and plan to take part in these free forums whether you're brushing up on your skills or just starting out. The Humber Rider Academy is located centrally in Hall 3.


November 8, 2006 . . . Canada's National Vintage Motorcycle Club, the Canadian Vintage Motorcycle Group (CVMG) will be launching a major display celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the CVMG in the new Vintage & Classics Hall 4A at SUPERSHOW 2007. The display will consist of three segments representing the three main activity areas of CVMG, namely a Trials area for vintage trials riding, a Touring area for vintage motorcycle road riding, and a Concours area for CVMG Rallies. Each area will have a number of related vintage motorcycles on display, along with information counters to inform vintage enthusiasts of membership and activities.


November 1, 2006 . . . One of the Canada's most infamous custom motorcycles, 'The Eater', Built by Kenny Kerr, will come out of retirement for SUPERSHOW 2007. One of the first Bobbers ever built in Canada, Eater is based on a 1959 Harley-Davidson Panhead with a springer front end and was seen at motorcycles shows across North America and Europe from 1961 to the early 70's, but has not been seen since. The crew at Magic Motorcycles is reviving this notorious bike for SUPERSHOW 2007's new Hall 5 Custom & Chopper Showcase and will be one of the feature turntable displays in front of the Canada Cup Championship Stage.


October 23, 2006 . . . Motorcycle journalist and author, Max Burns, will appear at SUPERSHOW 2007 in the Canadian Motorcycle Heritage Museum area in Hall 4A – the new Vintage & Classics Hall. He will be signing and selling all three of his Word Dust Press books: On Any Wednesday, Around the Bend (again), and These are a few of my favourite roads. With Max retired from writing his column for Cycle Canada magazine, this is your chance to get an update on what's happening in his world and--if you haven't already--get one of his latest books. Max is currently working a new book, a fictional piece, that takes you where you've never been before. On a motorcycle, naturally. See the Special Guests page.


October 16, 2006 . . . "Wymond's Old School?... We never went to school!" is one of the fantastic feature displays planned for SUPERSHOW 2007's new Hall 5 Chopper & Custom Bike showcase. Renowned Indian Motorcycle restorer and customizer, Wymond Walkem, will bring 6 vehicles into this theme display to showcase his talents, including: his latest $75,000 all black XLX with 113 ci S&S engine (as yet unnamed), the "Executioner" (originally shown at the SUPERSHOW in 1980 – 27 years ago!), an old style rigid custom, a shovelhead custom and a rat style Indian, plus a 1948 Chevy pick up truck with some surprises in the back and in the cab! October 11, 2006 . . . SUPERSHOW 2007's New Touring & Cruiser Halls 1 & 2 layout is rapidly gaining momentum. Many of Ontario's and Canada's largest touring clubs are now booking booth space to display their members' bikes and promote their club activities. Several of these organizations have also booked meeting rooms to hold executive meetings and AGM's at the SUPERSHOW. The Hall 2 Touring & Cruiser Stage schedule is filling up with interviews, entertainment, special guests as well as Saturday's MAX Awards for riders, and we're seeking a long-distance Iron Butt rider to speak on stage. Exhibiting clubs are encouraged to submit further ideas for the stage program. The Hall 1 & 2 Riders' Marketplace will feature a record number of commercial exhibitors with all the latest products for serious motorcyclists, and at great Show prices. Hall 2 also features the Family Restaurant area for food, socializing or just taking a break.


September 30, 2006 . . . ProductionsGPL.com has been appointed the Official Custom Bike photographers of SUPERSHOW 2007. Owned by photographer Gaetan Plourde, of St. Hubert, Quebec, Productions GPL produces an annual Calendar featuring some of Canada's hottest custom motorcycles – copies of which will be on sale at SUPERSHOW 2007. Look for their display featuring calendar cover bike "Rat Mutant" in the new Custom & Chopper Hall 5. Sneak preview of "Rat Mutant"!


September 26, 2006 . . . A new dedicated page about Canadian Hillclimb racing champion, John Williams, has been added to the SUPERSHOW web-site. Williams will be a special guest of SUPERSHOW 2007 and of the Legendary Hillclimbers display presented by North Carolina's 'Wheels Through Time Museum' at SUPERSHOW 2007. Read about John and see some photos from his exciting racing career but be sure to drop by and meet him in Hall 5 at the SUPERSHOW. You'll see some fantastic motorcycles including John's own championship winning hillclimber.

August 1, 2006 . . . Lucas Oil has signed on with SUPERSHOW 2007 to be the presenter of the New Performance and Racing Hall #4. SUPERSHOW's VP of Sales and Marketing, Peter Derry, announced today "We are very pleased to have the support of Lucas Oil in presenting Hall 4 which is the new Performance and Racing area of SUPERSHOW 2007. The Lucas Oil name will be identified with all aspects of this themed Hall and Show visitors will see a strong presence of the Lucas Oil name throughout the SUPERSHOW".


July 1, 2006 . . . North Carolina's famed 'Wheels Through Time' Motorcycle Museum announced plans to put on a Legenday Hillclimbers Display at SUPERSHOW 2007. The exhibit will be assembled by Museum founder and curator Dale Walksler featuring historical hillclimb bikes direct from the Museum. This display will star Canadian Hillclimber and World Champion, John Williams plus his famous championship winning bike. This promises to be a very engaging display and Showgoers can also talk to Dale about his Time Machine Internet Motorcycle Series.


June 1, 2006 . . . SUPERSHOW has announced 2 Special Guests who will be appearing at the 2007 Show in the New Hall 5 Chopper and Custom Bike Showcase. Michele Smith, from California, host of Speed TV's American Thunder will be at the Show all three days to meet fans, sign autographs and help with the Showbike Awards program. Legendary custom bike builder and motorcycle artist, Ron Finch, of Michigan, known to many for his appearances on Discovery Channels Biker Build-Off will appear at the SUPERSHOW with some of his amazing motorcycles including Odin's Axel.


May 1, 2006 . . . It's Official! SUPERSHOW 2007 will proceed with its planned expansion into the International Centre's prestigious Hall 5 to grow the Show to an astounding 425,000 square feet. Currently the SUPERSHOW occupies all of the Hall's in the complex's main building and now Hall 5 will be added to that floor plan, connected by an indoor walkway. Hall 5 will also become a new entrance to the Show giving Showgoers more options on where to start their visit in January of 2007.
