World Champion Motorcycle Hillclimber John Williams Guest Stars at 2007 SUPERSHOW January 5th-7th!Monday, October 23, 2006 (Toronto) – Canadian Motorcycle Racer and World Champion Hill Climber John Williams is appearing at the 2007 SUPERSHOW as Guest of Honour in the Historic Hillclimbers Display, presented by the Wheels Through Time Museum from Maggie Valley, North Carolina. The 2007 North American International Motorcycle SUPERSHOW, presented by Dalton Timmis Insurance, is held at the Toronto International Centre, January 5-7th, 2007.John Williams raced from 1958 to 1993, collecting wins and championships all over the world. He is a five time World Champion and holds records that still stand on many hills. John won the American Grand National Championship seven times, the Canadian National Championship 10 times as well as 33 State Championships. His sons Greg and Wade are also accomplished hillclimbers. John is well known as an innovator in the sport, developing better bikes and changing attitudes about what it takes to win in hillclimbing. Visitors to the SUPERSHOW will be captivated by the display of rare historical hillclimber motorcycles from the 20’s and 30’s including: a pair of 1930 original Harley-Davidson Factory Hillclimbers; an original 1934 Factory Hillclimber, model RH; a restored 1928 Indian 45 Factory Hillclimber; and a 1928 Altoona Factory Hillclimber. Both John and Dale Walksler, founder and curator of the Wheels Through Time Museum, are at the Show all weekend to talk about the bikes and the sport of Hillclimbing, as well as to present their impressive and inspiring display in SUPERSHOW 2007’s Hall 5, presented by J&P Cycles. Established in 1976, the SUPERSHOW is North America’s largest consumer motorcycle show. Produced by Bar Hodgson Productions Inc, the SUPERSHOW, known as 'The Big One by the Airport', is dedicated to presenting the finest the motorcycle industry has to offer for every type of motorcycle enthusiast.
