The Canadian Motorcycle Heritage Museum is pleased to announce a salute to Road Racing at this years SUPERSHOW featuring race bikes from the SUPERSHOW Collection. In conjunction with the Vintage Road Racing Associations 25th anniversary there will be the largest contingent of Historical Road Racing machines ever shown at a Canadian Motorcycle Show. There will be bikes from the early Board Track racing days of the 1920's right up to recent Championship winning Superbikes. They will be showcased in the Museums professional 2,100 square foot booth in the Main Industry Hall 3.
The list of Road Race bikes on display in the Museum booth from the SUPERSHOW Collection includes
- 1920 Indian 1000cc 'factory' Board Track racer. No brakes, no throttle and no suspension.
- 1951 Velocette Twin Shaft 'Works' factory 350cc single. One of only 3 remaining in the world.
- 1959 Norton Manx 500cc production race bike
- 1960 Norton twin replica Vintage race bike
- 1970 CR750 Honda The Ecurie Classic Racing Team factory kit Superbike that has won at Daytona 4 times
- 1970 Yamaha TA 125 two-stroke twin
- 1970 Kawasaki H1R500 - Yvon Duhamels Factory 2-stroke triple
- 1977 Yamaha TZ750D - the legend that was owned and raced by Eric Buell of Buell motorcycles fame and later by SUPERSHOW producer Bar Hodgson.
- 1979 Suzuki GS1000 - Canadian Superbike Legend Art 'The Dart' Robbins Superbike
- 1981 Kawasaki S-1 Superbike - Canadian Champion Lang Hindle's Championship winning bike.
- 1982 Suzuki GS1000 Katana - American Champion Wes Cooley's Yoshimura Superbike, ridden in Canada by Art Robbins.
- 1983 Can-Am 250 - very rare, serial #001 Grand Prix machine originally raced by Claude Leroux and currently under restoration by the SUPERSHOW Collection restoration team.
- 1984 Honda-HRC VF750R - Multi-time Canadian Champion Reuben McMurter's Superbike
- 1984 Suzuki RG500 - Grand Prix 2-stroke square-four that Trevor Nation almost won the Isle of Man race with in 1984. Identical to the type ridden by the legendary Barry Sheene
- 1984 Ducati TT2 Factory Race bike that was ridden in European 'Long Races' by Stephen Mertens
- 1985 Ducati 'Mille' BOTT race bike ridden by the late Jimmy Adamo and Canadian Frank Mrazek.
- 1987 Aprilia 250 -'Works' GP machine that Canadian Champion Steve Crevier rode to two National Championships
- 1987 Suzuki GSXR750 Superbike. One of the Suzuki Canada Boutique' Team machines, ridden by Gary Goodfellow.
- 1989 GSXR750-RR - the Q107 Radio station sponsored Suzuki Canada Team Superbike that was ridden by current Factory Ohlins Shock Racing specialist Jon Cornwel
- 1991 Ducati Corsa - the former World Superbike Series machine of Factory Team rider Giancarlo Falappa that was also ridden to many AMA wins by current Canadian Superbike Champion Pascal Picotte
- 1993 Kawasaki ZX7R - Canada's winningest Superbike, ridden by Canadian Champions Jordan Szoke, Steve Crevier and Michael Taylor
