24th Annual Motorcycle Awards of Excellence to be Presented at 2003 SUPERSHOW | |
TORONTO, ONTARIO - The 24th Annual Motorcycle Awards of Excellence (MAX Awards) are scheduled to be presented at the 2003 North American International Motorcycle SUPERSHOW, running January 3rd to 5th at the Toronto International Centre.The MAX awards, Canada's Motorcycle 'Oscars', have been developed to honour those individuals and organizations that have contributed or have gone above and beyond to promote the positive image of motorcycling. The awards are divided in to two major segments; Riders and Racers and are presented in over forty five categories including Canadian Racing Champions, Motorcycle 'Ambassadors', Events, Media and Sponsorship.The winners of the 2003 MAX Awards have been selected by an MAX Committee consisting of Pat Gonsalves, Colin Fraser and Chariman, Bar Hodgson, with input from Canadian riding organizations. The awards presentation is scheduled Saturday, January 4th at 3:00 p.m. and will take place on the 'Racers Stage" located in Hall 2 of the Toronto International Centre. There will be a reception taking place in the Canadian Motorcycle Heritage Museum display following the awards program.
