North American International Motorcycle SUPERSHOW 2003

TORONTO, ONTARIO – Four ‘Joe Rocket Racing Team’ Canadian Champions will be appearing as special guests representing Joe Rocket Sportsgear at the North American International Motorcycle SUPERSHOW, running January 3rd through 5th at the Toronto International Centre. | |

Current Superbike Champion Jordan Szoke, multi-time Canadian Champion Steve Crevier and former Canadian Champions Michael Taylor and Francis Martin, all Joe Rocket racers, will be on hand to meet race fans at the SUPERSHOW. Daytona Track Announcer, Pat Gonsalves will be conducting on-stage interviews with the Champions and other racers, during all three days on the Hall 2 Racer’s Stage. In addition to the interview sessions, the champions will be available to talk to fans and autograph hero cards and posters. Race fans won’t want to miss the array of history making Joe Rocket Racing Leathers on display at the stage, including Nicky Hayden’s #69 AMA Championship Suit and Jordan Szoke’s Canadian Championship Suit, plus Hayden’s Scorpion King leathers, the world-famous Foggy Petronas suit and Miguel Duhamel’s and Tommy Hayden’s leathers. Race enthusiasts will be able to watch footage from the 2002 Mosport Rounds of the Parts Canada Superbike Championships, including the SUPERSHOW sponsored Open Sport Bike double-header/F-USA Series races, on the large screen video playback system. The Joe Rocket Racing Team had a great season, after sweeping the North American Superbike titles. “To win both the American and Canadian Superbike Championships is a fantastic accomplishment”, said Bruce Parker, Marketing Director for Joe Rocket. The company’s commitment to racing is a big part of why Joe Rocket has become the #1 motorcycle apparel brand in North America. The Hall 2 Racer Stage will also host the 24th annual Motorcycle Awards of Excellence on Saturday, January 4th at 3:00 pm. The MAX Awards are presented in over 45 categories including Canadian Racing Champions, Rider Achievement, Media and Sponsorship showing motorcycle excellence during the 2002 year.
