SUPERSHOW 2004 Club Review![]() |
'SPONSORED CLUBS BIG PART OF HUGELY SUCCESSFUL SUPERSHOW!'Wow! Another great SUPERSHOW! Talk about coming back from a rough year, the SUPERSHOW bounced back big-time! No huge snowstorm this year, just a lot of fun!We had a fantastic attendance of nearly 55,000, the second biggest ever! Even with improvements like wider aisles, a main, carpeted 'highway aisle' in Hall 3 and some general re-structuring, the SUPERSHOW was filled to capacity on both Friday and Saturday. The Friday crowd set an all-time record attendance for an opening day. | |

We know that all our sponsored SUPERSHOW groups were a big part of that success! We had 71 sponsored booths at the show this year, accounting for approximately 64,000 of the SUPERSHOW's 300,000 total Square footage. The enthusiasm and interest this year amongst the clubs was the best we've ever seen. The quality of the booths was high, with more than a few groups taking advantage of the sponsored carpeting deal that we have arranged with our suppliers. It's amazing how much better looking (and easier on the feet) simple carpeting makes any booth look. We plan to expand this program more next year. |
| The Show itself was jam-packed full of Everything in Motorcycling. With deals on accessories to be had, new bikes to drool over, old friends to meet, a huge used bike market, the best looking custom-bike turnout ever, the list goes on and on. Some of the Pro-Builders Class customs were absolutely stunning. Many of the Top builders from Quebec and the U.S.A. competed, their machines as good as anything you'll see on TV. The whole Customs market is really getting huge, with the bikes becoming works of art and expressions of the rider's personality that one can actually ride and enjoy. |

With all the sponsored clubs and groups this year, there was a lot of effort put into many of the displays they built. The top three club displays were all outstanding, making the Judges job of selecting the Top-Ten more difficult than ever. The Durham Cruisers, The Canadian Sidecar Owners Club and the Gold Wing Touring Association took home top honours and hard cash totaling $450! They and many other clubs that made a big effort should be very proud of their accomplishments and awards. Well-done guys! |
If you missed the SUPERSHOW this year, make sure you mark your calendar early for next year. SUPERSHOW 2005 will be held January 7/8/9, at the International Centre as always. The Big One by the Airport, where parking is FREE! |
